Commentary
I have been a Kodi user for years. Sadly, to me after the Jarvis version, Kodi became a bit buggy. For example, I have used the newer versions of Kodi on four different Macs and search times on each Mac seem nearly endless. With 300 MBS of Internet service on tap, searches should be fairly fast. For me, and I imagine I am not alone in this, other than video streaming, most of Kodi’s services (local network streaming and weather) are redundant. Other devices such as Apple TV fill the void. As quality apps like Terrarium TV begin to present themselves, Kodi may be fast becoming a dinosaur. This will become especially true, if Terrarium and/or similar apps find their way onto Windows, iOS, OS X, and Linux.
